Changing things up a bit

I drove into work in a different lane today. Strangely enough it was a little liberating. Changing the normal routine of always driving in the two right lanes out of the three…usually the farthest right. I’ve never driven in the far left lane on the way to work and it was like seeing the world from a bit of a different angle. I saw and paid attention to things I normally never do. I only ventured into the left lane because I decided I wanted to stop for breakfast and I wanted a wrap from Arby’s instead of the same old biscuit. I thought I would share this new sense of freedom with you all. Try it. Try changing sides. On the road, in bed, on the couch, in life. Anywhere you can. Just for a day. See the world from the other side of the road…..

The birthday book

The Secret Language of Birthdays is a book that gives all kinds of insight (if you choose to call it that…I do) into people born on each day of the year. It gives a full 2 pages to each day of the year with personality traits, tendencies, warnings and health concerns for people born on that day. It also includes the seasons, numbers, astrological signs, and tarot cards for your day, as well as famous people also born on that day. It’s a GREAT coffee table book and conversation piece. I’ve had it for years now and look up my friends whenever they come over to see how accurate the book is. It’s usually pretty dead on. Check it out or come visit and I’ll show you mine.
